Dude, you're in Canada, go get yourself some real beer. Find some Unibroue. Only way I drink what you're drinking is if they ran out of water!

| Yea, that's pretty good, I've had it before. It's a Canadian beer as well since it's made by Sleeman. Next beer I'll be trying is St.Ambroise Oatmeal Stout, my dad's friend likes it a lot and since I like Guinness he said I'd probably like this better.

I've been drinking all kinds of crazy beers, but my camera is broken! So who cares. I guess I can make a list of them... Drinking Red Truck wine tonight, Cali 2008 wine. Really smooth red. |

So I've been hanging out on another forum... sorry... a headphone forum at that. Talk about nerdy. I found their beer thread, and they got NOTHING on this thread, this thread RULES. They call it Beer-Fi. Like Hi-Fi. But beer. Anyways... So I'm skimming through this one for pictures and I didn't make it too far in before I had to run out and grab some suds. New one for me, Southern Tier IPA. Piney, little too malty if I had to nitpick, then bitterness lingers. Not bad, not great. 6.9% and easy drinking means fun time. Had to grab a Lagunitas Hop Stoopid, I'm honestly in love with that beer. And another from Lagunitas, their Little Sumpin' Wild ale. 8.85% About to open this one up right about nah. No pictures, my poor Canon finally died and I'm buying music on vinyl instead of saving for a new camera. Cheers! |

Haven't checked this thread out in a while, so I figured I'd add some of my recent beers... Ommegang Hennepin - awesome beer, one of the few I keep buying more of Bell's Amber Ale - good stuff St Bernardus Abt 12 - Great beer, but I've had another Quad recently that I prefer more (Ommegang Three Philosophers) And here's a couple of rounds of purchases at a local store called Total Wine. Bought all of this for having folks over to watch college football. Tonight I had a Bell's Consecrator, but didn't take a pic. Also have to mention the absolute worst beer I've had lately...Shipyard Pumkinhead Ale. It tastes about like someone sopped up spilled pumpkin guts with a dishrag and then rung it out in a glass of stagnant pond water. |

We have a total wine near us too! I luvs it. I went tonight to see if there was a certain somethings, and there were several certain interesting somethings, so I bought a few of said somethings, and will post pics after this weekend-- since most of the somethings are for a surprise for a certain person on this board for their bday. I just gave myself a headache typing that.... |

So tonight I went to our local awesome little beer/hombrewery shop, and bought Spaten Oktoberfest Flying Dog Breweries Classic Pale Ale Flying Dog Breweries In Heat Wheat (Hefeweizen) North coast Old Rasputin Imperial Russian Stout: and Strawberry Blonde: they're for my bday celebration this weekend, so I haven't tried any of them yet (and the stout is for Jake, I'm not a big fan of stouts). I will be back with a full report (and pictures of my own, these are all from google) on sunday... if I'm not too hungover. Last edited by Del Montess; 10-07-2010 at 11:04 PM. |
