Me and my girl of 2 yrs broke up yesterday and tomorrow is my birthday so its been a pretty rough couple days, I bit the bullet and bought 2 24oz La fin du monde tonight(8.99 each) and it was "makes my tongue wanna slap my brains out" good.

Happy early birthday and freedom to me mothafukas

Here's a little something that kinda conveys how I feel. SALUTE!

Anytime you want to trade something, let me know. I can't get Founders here or a few other really well regarded brands. However, I have access to Cigar City Brewing stuff and maybe a couple of others you'd be interested in.

You must mean the yeast added phenolic and spicy flavors! Maybe even a bit tart, astringent, or cleaning. ^_^

Was that your first one ever?

There's a lot going on in there, and I have a hard time describing it.

Yeah it was and very complex. The fruit on the front and pepper on the finish are easily distinguishable, the jumble of yummy in the middle... Well i need more of them to figure it all out

x2 I've got 2 cans sitting in the fridge. I find it's incredibly difficult to brew a beer so intensely flavored with bitter and astringent grains yet have it be so drinkable.
