Ginger Bread sums it up. Light on the nose, ginger bread flavor, head dissipated quickly, thin mouth feel.

I do have a slightly burned tongue from too hot tomato soup, but it's a pretty dominate ginger bread flavor, right now anyways.

Visiting family this week in Jacksonville Florida. My father in-law told me I had to check out this place: BrewersPizza.com: Our Beer

Went there last night, hoping to go back a few more times before I leave Saturday. Amazing beer brewed on site.

Last night I started with a Pinglehead, then tried a Black Hops. Both where great, although I should have started with an Endless Summer. I tried my wifes after I was half done with the Black hOPs and didnt taste much

Take a look at the menu, any suggestions on their list from around the nation? They also have 9 different victory beers on tap.

Heh.

Skip the Two Hearted unless you want an expensive and underwhelming IPA.

The Oberon is similar to Blue Moon and Anheuser's Shock Top, an orangey wheat.

I'd probably try the Rye Squared IIPA, cause it's kinda strong. But really I'd probably stick with the restaurant's beers, cause you might not find those anywhere else. I'd personally go for the Nine Voices, but I'm a big fan of IPAs. Then I'd try their best seller, Pinglehead I think it said.

Plan was to try all the house brews. Pinglehead was awesome!

Once I try them all I need to find out how to bring my favorite back home on the plane with me.

A very special offer for Australians who have heard of the legendary aussie brew but have not yet had the chance to try it. Thanks to an unbeatable freight deal, Piss can now be delivered straight to your door almost anywhere in Australia*.
Typical Australian piss beers, mate.

Since I hate gingerbread, I'll stay away. Here's my choice for the evening... while we unpacked and assembled the goodness. Hopefully we'll be running by Saturday morning.

Got me a new beer that I very much enjoy. Never seen it before, and it's from a BBQ brewery place about two hours away. Time to pay them a visit.

The Brew Kettle's White Rajah IPA.

Quote:
A West Coast style IPA full of citrus-like and tropical fruit like hop flavor and aroma with an assertive yet smooth bitter finish....malt, take a back seat please.

6.8% Alc/ Vol. 70 IBUs
No malt flavor! It's great! Between this, Bear Republic's Racer 5, and Founder's Centennial, it will be hard to decide which to take home.

This one is for Eee Pee since Patrick did not fulfill your request:

Fruit on the nose, creamy richness up front, nice alcohol bite 10%! followed by a medley of fruit flavors with a strong apple finish.

just looked at the site and yes, it looks like piss. Just a novelty beer....not all Aussie beer is as shite as this tho.....
Been watching this thread for ages and GODDAM those is some nice looking brews, I'm envious a buggery....a good eye opener though, my idea of American beer was BUD, MILLER and COORS. I'd love to hit the states just to sample your beers......the local bottlo's don't tend to get good quality stuff in, just the mass produced swill that really is piss......

That's a fair assessment of American beers. Their market share is ENORMOUS compared to the beer manufacturers you're seeing in this thread. Like mid twenty to high teens in percentage of sales for each of the big companies, and low single digits for the "micro brews". Every now and then Anheuser-Busch makes a knock off specialty "craft" beer, but they don't seem to stay on the market for very long. And most of the typical American piss beer is expensive too.
