NFC championship game food

The onions were camelized and the brats boiled in Rouge Dead Guy, paired with Hop Wallop for liquid libations

We're missing a post or two.

Anyways, look what I got!!! Not as good as I was hoping for/expecting.

Thin mouth feel, smells of alcohol, tastes of alcohol, and not much else I can pick apart to describe. Maybe it's the half bottle of Bacardi Limón talking, but this is nothing special. So with that said, I better have whacked out dreams tonight or I'll be completely let down...

It's like saison meets rodenbach. Dominated by the funk and somehow not overwhelmed by the intense sour, this has to be one of my favorite beers of all time: La Roja.

Just saw this:

Quote:
Westvleteren was just named best beer of the world again by Ratebeer.com

Westvleteren 12
Närke Kaggen Stormaktsporter
Goose Island Rare Bourbon County Stout
Founders KBS (Kentucky Breakfast Stout)
Rochefort Trappistes 10
Bells Hopslam
Russian River Pliny the Younger
Cigar City Pilot Series Passionfruit and Dragonfruit Berliner Weisse
AleSmith Speedway Stout
Deschutes The Abyss
I just had this years Hopslam, not bad, but not exactly what I would think would be number 6 in the world though. Just did a gang of Founders KBS, too. Good shit.

I'll stick with the king of beers Budweiser that's the only beer I drink. Really like the taste first thing in the morning. I was pretty pissed when they sold out to InBev but still can't find another beer I can drink all day and everyday and love every swallow

I had Founders newish All Day IPA, not bad. It's only 4.7%, so it's weak, but it's also missing some of the Founders IPA charm I've come to very much enjoy. Not worth $12, in my opinion.

And then there's this!

I will have to find some of that! I like most things the DFH puts out. The only one I really did not enjoy, more like despised is Raison D'Etre. I took about 3 sips, then poured it into a pot and boiled some sausages in it.

I've had this lurking in my fridge since Superbowl Sunday. It is the 1st beer I have had since then. Not sure if that is what made it taste so good, or if it is just that damn good, but I am sure enjoying it!
