Yeah, that stuff is good. They sell it at the local coffee shop.

Let it marinate with some oxygen in a glass and it's good to go.

That is a really good and smooth stout. It even seemed to get better the warmer it got too. Definitely buying some more if that soon.

And as far as the other quadruple ale you tried, I'll definitely agree that it HAS to be ice cold. I unfortunately don't drink beer very fast so they usually start getting warm before I finish them and the quadruple gets a little funky the warmer it gets.

Grabbed this from the local IGA the other day. They had a HUGE display of Rogue's stuff, I felt like I was in a very happy place. Probably the darkest beer I've ever tried and I like it ALOT! It's not as heavy as I thought it was going to be. Nice chocolate/espresso taste.

It's a shame the wife won't let me spend $6 a 22oz. more often. LOL

P.S. - I need me a nice "beer" glass, what do I look for? Beer noob here. Jealous of all the nice display pieces.

I like my tulip glass the best because it kicks in the smells pretty good. And all the IPAs and Belgian style beers I like are smelly.

I prefer a snifter to a tulip for most beer drinking. I drink all of my stouts and most sours from a ceramic mug. I drink lighter spiced beers out of a ceramic goblet.

Do you two ladies stick your pinky fingers out when you drink out of those?

About to grab a Shipyard Apple head I've had stashed away since they stopped making it this season. It's like drinking an apple pie.

Some beers from Santiago Chile.

The first one is not bad tasting but not to what I like. It's more of a German beer taste.
I prefer British ales.
The others...

Not good.

Good.

Best.
No better as there's 3 bests.

More to come as I'm here till next Thursday.

This is one of the best beers I've had to date. Very smooth and nothing obnoxious about it. Its dark but doesnt present itself like a dark/black beer.

Check out the raspberry dark chocolate m&ms behind it! Frickin crazy!!

If you're ever in the Houston area, take a trip over to that brewery (~1hr drive)...it's a pretty fun tour!

Years ago I toured the Leinenkugel brewery in Chippewa Falls Wisconsin. The tour was definitely cool but the most memorable thing was the smell.

If i ever make it down to Texas I'll have to check it out.

I'm going to pick up some of the new Leinenkugel Winter Seasonal - Snowdrift Vanilla Porter.

https://leinie.com/Beers.aspx#snowdrift

I'd post a pic, but work computer is not cooperating with me...
