I'm getting some tonight. I always used to get it when it could be found. I'd buy out the store. They'd get it for me. This is why.

Good one. Look for Brew Kettle - Awesome. Similar. It's great. Not sure if Brew Kettle gets out of Ohio, but they are superb at their crafties. |

I typically go with DIPAs or IIPAs for the higher ABV. But I am fond of Dale's. It was the first non homebrewed IPA I ever had. I'll look for Brew Kettle. If Total Wine and Spirits doesn't have it, they can try and get it for me.

If you're asking for a great beer, not just an okay beer, then ask for Brew Kettle's White Rajah.

We call it Buttwiper. Hell of a franchise and history though. And then there's Corona... |

| Re: Beers Arguably every countries big beer export is piss-water. I spend a fair bit of time in Denmark, Carlsberg is certainly not the pride and joy of their beer drinkers. That said not many have the name of another Danish beer on the tip of their tongue...the country is filled with good beer

Right now, and I don't know or care if it's trendy to like or not, but my personal favorite beer to drink right now is Stella Artios. It is the smoothest drinking beer I have found. I have tried a lot of different beers - even been to the Epcot drinking festival a few times. It is officially called the food and wine festival, but really everyone drinks all day and has cheap snacks. Nothin' finer than a German beer sampler at ten in the morning! A different beer from around the world every fifteen or twenty minutes. Strongly recommend. It's laughable to think someone might actually judge a person based on their beer preference. That said i have no issues judging the beer itself. It is pretty rare that iI come across a beer I consider undrinkable. I feel it is important to have a good variety of palletable beer in the fridge at all times. I gotta have a nice hoppy IPA, a flavorful Ale and even a few refreshing light brews chillin...cause i aint gonna pound back an IPA after a hot afternoon of sweating in the sun, and I sure as hell aint gonna serve a buddy a Corona with lime when they come by for alate night brew. Little Scrapper IPA. The local brew up here |

Stella Artois was somewhat recently bought by Anhueser who owns Budweiser and Corona among many others. Global beers.

I had a few of these last night. I sure wish they'd start importing lowenbrau again. That was one I looked forwards to getting every so often. |

I'm very fond of Guinness, but not from a bottle. A little Irish pub near me does the whole 2 minute pour into a pint glass with the proper aerated tap thing, and it is so rich and creamy. Yum!

While not in the realm of beer, I did attend a pretty cool function yesterday. Seems a local craft distillery just opened up about ten minutes from my house. Mostly different sorts of vodkas, brandies, and whiskys right now, but they plan on all sorts different liquors in the near future. Pretty cool place. It was sort of their grand opening to the public. They have a nice bar, a large room to hold future functions, and the distillery equipment is behind glass for all to see. There was a pretty good band playing classic rock and the drinks were cheap! Six bucks for three shots of your choice. We had to walk up the street and chill at a friends house for a few hours before either the wife or myself could drive home. Good time!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
