I've never been a big fan of New Belgium beers, but this one is pretty good: Tastes similar to the Stone IPA, but not as strong... |

Gonna fill my Friday afternoon off with some delicious beer, thanks to this thread. So here is what we have on the table. The side of the bottle is not quite as entertaining as I think was intended: Quote:

Thanks for looking JH, so happens I looked today, too. I'm calling you JH from now on. I should have asked the people, but rather than care, I grabbed a big bottle of Maudite and a six pack of Racer 5. Woo hoo! |

I was confused at first, people call me JH sometimes I'm gonna see if I can find some new beer here. The local Hyvee has a pretty good selection but I have gone through most of it already and they don't get in new brands very often. Just about all of the microbrews I find are just brands for the big guys nowadays too. Back in MBA school we had a AB rep come in and talk to us about how the market works and what they do to get the most shelf space. This includes buying up or starting new "craft" brands to take over shelving from smaller companies that can't compete on distribution or price. |

| You get the ricer Type R added into your JH. JRH As we all know, red is faster. And I just watched a good movie about beers and marketing, but I can't think of the name right now... written by a woman and narrated too by her, and had a lot to do with Sam Adams and Dogfish Head. |

Beers Of course fat tire is decent. They have a restuarant in the Denver airport if you are ever flying through there. Nothing like a beer with breakfast .

| I admit to liking an orange slice in my Blue Moons. Quote:
Beers and weapons, a great combination on a Sunday morning. Speaking of the morning, breakfast... I love weekends. Über Pils, 7%. Tastes a lot like what it looks like. Not much to smell, and after an initial kinda sweet, kinda maybe caramel front, there isn't much to talk about. Kinda thick, or full in the mouth, then it's gone. The foamy head lasted almost the entire glass all the way down.
