Default Melbourne RC shops

I'll be visiting Melbourne, Australia next month, so I figure I'll divert my wife's shopping route pass one or two RC shops while we're there. Anybody here from around there? Any recommended shops to visit for crawling stuff and general rc gear?

Thanks

G'day Mate, sorry to disapoint you but no LHS stock crawler parts on the shelf down here, we have to make them our selves.

And as far as pricing goes i think you will be disapointed in that as well.

But when you over here give us a call and we can go for a crawl and a beer or two.

Thanks Chris,

Sounds like Australia's just like over here in Malaysia. I can't join you for the crawl yet because I'm still scratch building my first crawler. At the rate I'm going, it won't get done for at least 2 more months. There's just about enough parts for a crawler here if you rip apart the touring cars and put them back together with a bunch of glued, taped, and bolted-on aluminium plates and angles.

I'll probably try and stay out of RC mode while I'm down there then.

yeah from the search on the web, it does look like Sydney and even Perth and Adelaide has more RC activity than Melbourne. Too bad I'll only have time to be in Melbourne. I guess I might make a detour to the Grampians for another kind of RC
