Default Job interview in the morning

As I am sure most of you know, I have was laid off november of last year and havent worked since. Being a liscnesed electrician, you'd think it wouldnt be hard to find a job. But you would be sooooo wrong.
After months of searching and searching and searching, I finally got a call from a buddy of mine, and he offered to get me an interview with his boss so that hopifully I could come work with him. He sells cell phones, and makes really good money doing it.
Its a strickly commission job, and the last sales job I had was about 10 years ago. So, I am not real sure of how its gonna work out, but Ima give it hell anyway.

With 5 kids a wife and a RC hobby to support I guess I cant continue living on my savings forever.

So, wish me luck with my interview tommorow morning..

I got into the retail wireless industry back in '01 and its definately NOT all its cracked up to be.

Back in the day it was fairly easy to make good money but now all the companies are interested in are "features" and not actually selling equipment & contracts.

I got laid off from my last cell phone job in March and have made the decision not to go back. The bizz has gotten waay to greedy on a corp level...

But good luck!

wow 5 kids... wouldnt it be easier just to sell one or 2?? haha

but good luck with the interview, being in the trades my self i know what its like to be laid off cuz of the economy BS, luckily i only had a few months off, and at that i even requested them off so i cant complain... tho i dont think i could ever work a retail job if my life depended on it haha

Well, had my interview.
I dont think it went bad, but I dont think it was great either.

So, right now it looks like a wash. We'll see what happens
