Arrow Jeepin' at Holy Jim Canyon

Went out for a little test session at Holy Jim Canyon here in SoCal. It's a simple but scenic trail. A few pics from the trip, the rest of the them can be seen here.

That's the only way to roll! I haven't had a top on my jeep in at least three years. It's stored in the attic...

damn the memories.......

used to live right by there(saddleback church area).

check out the Main Divide trail, go to the top(Santiago peak, the view up here on a clear day is ridiculous-Catalina is visible), cruise it all the way thru to Ortega Hwy.... or the opposite way to Corona.(it might STILL be closed due to the fire YEARS ago). just stay out of "blackstar canyon", heard some weird sh%t goes down over there.

also a ok place to go would be "Wildomar OHV" area, its free( i think), and it isn't bad.

even right off of Bake Pkwy(east of trabuco) used to be good "offroading" years ago..... now its just a bunch of white cookie cutter corporate office buildings. Point being- enjoy these local offroad spots while you can...

oh yeah, in HJ there are many "secret" off trails----try to find them.

I haven't had a back window for years, and now the side windows out back are gone too. May actually have to replace the original top this winter, we'll see.

My registration is up this month too. Just need to get the new exhaust installed and get it smog tested here. Then the state of Cali can bend me over for bringing an out of state vehicle here.

I was wondering how that was going to work out. Good luck with that man.
