Default Don't support this site!

Since everyone else is doing it...

I'm working on a new website running on the Zomix engine.

Here's the url...

http://rwd4.zomix.com/ProjectTwin/We...ctTwin_com.cfm

Once the site is complete, the DNS info will be re-directed to the new site.

So yeah...See what ya think, tell me how bad it sucks, tell me to fawk off, etc.

The key is in doing it right. CSS, XHTML. You HTML should contain absolutely NO layout or formatting. Your CSS should be optimized, and clean. If you can show a client a web page that looks super clean code wise, then tell them how easy it is to change around the entire layout, you'll win every time.

Here is my latest creation at work Http://www.nau.edu/ihd/SELECT_test/

And jason.. You're reffering to two style sheets in there? Looks good though.

Two style sheets?

I'm lost. I built the thing using the Zomix engine...it's all web based WYSIWYG type of stuff, but it's freakin' killer.

You go to www.zomix.com and take it for a test drive.

Apparently someone at work like the Techie Hemi as well, I think someone ran off with it. :( It's been MIA for a couple of weeks now. Hopefully it'll resurface in another classroom.

Dave, it is called a CMS site, which use mutiple style sheets most of the time. If you don't know what a CMS site is read up, cause they make great sites for certain needs. Very easy to post ALOT of content which is what (IMO) Jasonisaugusta could benifit from.

Jasoninagusta, Nice work.

Its before the <html> We're actually planning on using multiple style sheets at work, one for layout, one for style/colors.

I'll have to look into Zomix, seems like a neat thing. Pretty clean code for a visual editor

JasonInAgusta,

I was checking out that site www.zomix.com cause I have been wanting to redo one of my sites. WOW, those site packages are expensive! I won't be purchasing it since I am poor, but I think the zomix engine is very nice and I like what you have done with your site.

The only problem I see is that your photo galleries are not compatible with a mozilla browsers because it requires activex/shockwave.

But not to many people use Linux/Mozilla for there desktop so it is not that big of a problem really.

Again, nice work.

Well, we're running MaxxTraxx on the Zomix engine and while it was being built I found various things that needed tweaking. I guess Dennis appreciated the feedback since he offered up the chance to move my site to Zomix.

As of now there are reports that Mac users (Safari) are having problems with the main navigation bar that's up top on both MaxxTraxx and ProjectTwin.

I guess that's what they get for using Macs!

But as far as the Zomix, I couldn't pass it up. I get a cool site and a cool way to update it, just have to (pay for hosting) report bugs and such to him, tell him what I'd like to see (a few of my ideas are now new modules) etc.

The cool thing is that I can log in to the admin page from any computer and update the site no matter where I am.
