| Re: new to the forums. Welcome Kingcobra! KC has made some of the most capable and realistic vehicles for the 1nsane offroad game! I loved your V1 of the Karnivore! I haven't played 1nsane in months.... kinda lost interest when I got into the R/C thing. I see that you've uploaded a V2 of the Karni' on Insaneheat.... got to get the game reinstalled so I can try that one out! |

hehe...thx CSR...the karnivore v2 is a huuge improvement..you need to try it. anyways this is my crawler idea... using TLT 1 axles, 2.2 wheels and tires and a fully welded frame made of aluminum rod, a scratchbuilt tranny and a seriously hacked up HPI rubicon body this is what I came up with. now keep in mind these axles are just for the concept. and there a few small issues I will address, mainly concerning the placement of the steering servo (as it might get hit by the front axle when it's fully compressed). but no real problem areas that I can see. |

Looks good, is it made in proE, solidworks, or something else? I really want to see the aluminum tuber when it is done.

3DSMAX...I will post complete build pics. the radio trays, belly pan, roof guard, shock mounts, body mount tabs, and the motor mount plate will all be actually welded to the frame and not removable. no screws will be needed to hold the frame together at all (less to break). the belly pan will have a replaceable skid plate screwed to it so when it gets worn too bad it can be replaced.

I was looking at all the detail you put in and was just woundering. It looks like you even put teeth on the gears so I cant imagine what other detail you put in.
