Did anyone one else get screwed out of watching the race yesterday? My recordings said "Formula 1 Racing" and "F1 Extra", but what I had was 4 hours of nascar...

Nope , but I got the BBC broadcast. Forums are calling it a great one. It was pretty good.

Looks like I'll have to start using Kodi or something similar. My trust in NBCSN and NBCHC is waning...

I found highlights and saw the good parts like HAM winning, ROS retiring, and VET overtaking ROS in the points though!

I have found that you have to record the original broadcast which for me in NC was scheduled at 7:30am. Got the race and F1 Extra. I recorded the re-run later in the day and it was all NASCAR. I have AT-T Uverse if that makes a difference.

I've missed one recording but that was due to the title of the race being called F1 instead of Formula One or something of that nature. I'd be raisin' kane and spittin' all kinds of cuss words if frickin' NASCAR was there instead of F1. All kinds.

Lately I've followed free practice on Friday over the web or via NBC Live Extra, I watch the Quali over TV on Saturday, and I watch the Main on NBC Live Extra on Monday. They give you sweet camera options too, way better than TV. I think the SKY and BBC offer similar setups.

And before Cory comes in and says SKY and BBC are better, he's really just b-hurt that he can't get all that David Hobbs whhoahahwhehahehoa action that us NBC bros get.

I have u-verse too and have it set to record the original. It missed it somehow at 6:30.

My wife probably had kids shows that interfered, and F1 got bumped.

I went though settings last night. The next 2 races are on NBC not CNBC or NBCSN, and times where I should be able to watch them live. I am recording just in case.
