Come on stewards,,,, if your gonna have rules, enforce them.

Freakin' Max got lucky. I can think of a few drivers that would have just plowed into him pulling that two move boggie on Kimi.

As far as the announcers bashing on Vettel for complaining about the blue flag rule, that very well could have been the difference in his being able to pass Ricardo in the last 2 laps.
Not a bad race, but kinda boring with only a few good scuffles later on.
And can you believe it??? No race ending accidents or drama.

VET getting super squirelly on the straight and opening DRS immediately after was my highlight.

No buzz about Hamilton using soft to smash everyone and Nico giving it full lock again?

I really can't stand Nico at all. Without the best car on track, he is an "also ran" at best who's cracks under pressure.

Mercede should cut Nico and pick up Perez.

Ya forgot to mention where he turned his engine down
Nico seems to really mess up when playing defense. It almost seems as if he knows he is losing and pulls a last-ditch jack move that goes wrong for him.

At this point it would be cool to see just about anyone other than Nico Rosberg in a Mercedes. I have a cool idea, let a rookie drive for the first half of the season and then let an O.G. have at it for the second half. Whoever scores more points can drive for the entire next year. or something.

Also, good for RedBull.

Mclaren is creeping up in there too.

I haven't seen the last two races.

I did watch the highlights though, and it was about 45 seconds long.

LOL Freakin' Nico......

Cool to see RedBull gaining pace with their Renault motor. Guess their chassis is really working better than the Renault factory ride.

Now the month long bummer of no F1.

Hope Ferrari can get together during the break.

Thats funny, Ferrari getting it together in a month. most of the time it takes years and French team principal, English Technical director, and a German driver. At least they have 1 out of 3.

Then how do you explain RB pretty much over the same basic course of a month making such gains with a Tag H, branded Renault power unit?
maybe it's just their teenage & Aussi driver combo?

Doesn't matter. I like Vettel and Kimi as drivers. I think they make a great team so yes, I hope Ferrari get it together.

I was being a smart ass and commenting on the whole Ferrari organization. Red Bull have better organization than Ferrari and less bureaucracy and seemingly better able to get their act together quickly. I would also say that RB turnaround has be the culmination of the last year and a half since Vettel left.
I Think that Ferrari are a great team and I like their current drivers too, but I certainly don't buy into the whole Ferrari mystique.

Speaking of Ferrari, here they are testing the new 2017 tire on a 2015 car that has some modifications to simulate 2017 forecasted downforces ...mainly a wider rear wing and some ground effect actions.

I thought it would bring a new element of competition to F1 by increasing the wheel diameter, but alas, they stick with 13's. Sigh. Wider tires just bring more grip, no?

Hah you said tires. My mistake. That's my one for the year. I made it pretty far into the year this time.

Bigger wheels is a complete redesign of the car. Complete. And that's major money and there's too many teams on the verge of not competing anymore anyway so, that's not going to happen.

I assume you understand the whole, sidewall is part of the suspension thing.

Wider tires, less aero, make the drivers do more work instead of the car. And they hope with less aero the cars will be able to duel it out betterer.
