There's been a few WDC that stopped like this. I think his father, Keke did it and all but disappeared. Alain Prost did it. Couple more I can't think of right now…

I'd probably do it. So much money and too much stress. But the idea of getting in anything other than a Formula 1 car can't be too appealing except LeMans Prototypes but even then, stress.

I think Alonso is possibly one of the best drivers in F1 history, and with that being said, he has the worst luck in joining teams the year they fall flat on their face. Im hoping that Mclaren gets their shit together, because Alonso has a couple years left. He should have been up there with the 3x and 4x world champs.
