And lessen the chances that the fuel rig hose gets stuck in the car.

I think the weight loss as the race progresses will make it very cool. Two different handling cars entirely with how much fuel they'll be carrying at the beginning compared to the end.

Slightly skinnier front tires too for some reason.

Skinny tires will be a good change. I've always thought F1 would be far more interesting if they'd use a spec tire with about a 185 section width, and no other rules.

You want to run 1200hp? Go for it, but you've still got skinny-ass tires. 40,000 pounds of downforce? See how those little tires handle the heat.

Yeah, I know, it's called Formula Vee

Since we are talking F1, my buddy and I were having this conversation today.
NASCAR vs. F1. How many F1 fans like NASCAR. I lost the SPEED channel, and dont follow racing much, but if I catch it I will watch it. F1 rocks! I just dont get an oval track with nothing but left turns. I know some of you are gonna freak, especially me being of southern roots and all, but I just dont get all left turns.

Its like the TORC races vs. CORR. The first CORR race I saw, I loved it. The race was like F1 in the dirt, with trucks and jumps. Then I saw TORC, and it was hard dirt, jumps, and left turns. I guess I just can get really into the oval track concept. Dont get me wrong, I will watch it. Its fast, loud, and has horsepower, so it cant be too bad.

Just wondered if there is an F1 and NASCAR rivalry?

Finland's 2007 Formula One champion Kimi Raikkonen has signed a deal to drive a C4 World Rally Car on 12 rounds of the 2010 World Rally Championship.

This morning's long awaited announcement from Citroen Racing brings an end to weeks of speculation concerning the F1 star's plans for 2010, when he will take a sabbatical from his Grand Prix career.

Raikkonen will drive for Citroen's second squad, the Junior World Rally Team, thanks to backing from Red Bull - one of his personal sponsors from F1. He will be co-driven by fellow Finn Kaj Lindstrom, who previously partnered multiple WRC champion Tommi Makinen. The only rally the pair will miss next year is Rally New Zealand - an event the Junior Team is skipping altogether.

“I always wanted to compete in rally, especially in the World Rally Championship at some point in my career," said Raikkonen. "Thanks to Red Bull, I have the opportunity to drive the best car of the series with the Citroen C4. This is a new but very exciting challenge. For the moment we have a one-year contract and we will see how it goes for the future. I am really looking forward to testing the car and taking the start of the first rally.”

Partnering Raikkonen at the Citroen Junior team in 2010, will be French rising star Sebastien Ogier, 25, who will also drive a Red Bull-backed C4.
Heard Ferrari is paying Kimi 17 million Euros cause they terminated him early.

and Silverstone is not dead.

And Schumi might be coming back again with Brawn Mercedes.

FIA must announce Briatore ban lift

The FIA has been ordered to tell the public and teams that the bans from motor sport imposed on Flavio Briatore and Pat Symonds for their part in Formula 1's race-fix scandal have been lifted.

A French court ruled on Tuesday that the decision to ban the two Renault men had been "irregular" and overturned the FIA's decision, meaning both Briatore and Symonds can now return to work in Formula 1.
