Yeah I saw that, plausible excuse for putting Alonso in and not a driver from the feeder team...

Regarding Ferrari, I don't see Alonso going anywhere. I do see Massa being dumped, though. However counter argument is he can keep the pace, but just not over the endurance. Kimi would be sweet, but give Alonso yet another thing to complain about. Cause that's probably what would happen. Alonso is pretty sweet though regardless of his complaints.

Still think Kimi would be awesome at Redbull, but who knows if that'll happen.

Nico Rosberg: I can't see him leaving Merc, cause he's fast there.

I see it as if they're trying to fit Riccardo in the RB car, then that's who they want in there. Surprised there's absolutely zero give in the cockpit to fit his woman hips.

Thank Newey for that.

Alonso's clock is ticking away and he knows it. The last 5 years Ferrari has amounted to zilch and next year is a wild-card with all the rule changes. If Alonso has a performance (team) escape clause in his contract he could probably use it. As far as working for Italians, if you aren't one, you will never truly be "in the family".

Kimi's clock is ticking as well. Staying with Lotus wouldn't be a bad thing for him, but keeping Grosjean around would be a bad thing. No help for his team mate, and actually counter productive sometimes. SPAAAA corner 1 last week for instance.

And just saying, Kimi won his World Championship in a Ferrari. I'd say he's in the family. Maybe more like an in law.

Quote:
Räikkönen switched to Ferrari in 2007, becoming the highest paid driver in motor sport with an estimated wage of $51 million per year.[2] His move to Ferrari saw him secure his first Formula One World Drivers' Championship, beating McLaren drivers Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso by one point, as well as becoming one of the very few drivers to win in their first season at Ferrari. In 2008, he equalled the record for fastest laps in a season for the second time. However, with Ferrari's desire to get Fernando Alonso in the team with his Santander sponsorship, Räikkönen left the sport and Scuderia Ferrari F1 Team in 2009.
Might be bad blood there I suppose.

I don't like this driver to this or that team stuff because I find it never pans out the way we or they think it will. You never know until they actually say. They're very elusive about it all.

Wonder how Fred's hips compare to Daniel's?

If him buying the cycling team is true, I'm disappointed.

Massa reveals he is leaving Ferrari at the end of 2013 F1 season - F1 news - AUTOSPORT.com

Alonso will accept Ferrari's 2014 decision as Raikkonen talk grows - F1 news - AUTOSPORT.com

Here's my guesses before I read any of that.

Kimi and Alonso at Ferrari and win Constructor's.
Massa and Hulkenberg at Lotus and take second in Constructor's.
Red Bull takes third.
Grossjeans takes Hulkenberg's seat.

2014... New playing field. With new motors, should be an interesting year to watch. My bet is...by the end of the year those turbos will rival this years speed. Will be hard to beat the tandem champions at Ferrari....IF .....Kimi ends up there.

Can't rule out Adrian...red bull Will be right there

Gross Jean...simply out.....

Is anyone here going to the Texas race?
I'm looking at going but I'm the only here who likes F1, so I'd be traveling and staying by my self.

Hell, I may just sleep in my car outside the parking lot like a stalker.
