Finally stayed awake for the whole thing. Forth try. Boring. Not sure why.

Only because two tires popped is there an ounce of merit to bitch about them. And even then, I dunno. You know their lifecycle but pushed it too far.

Was reading in Crash F1, No drop off in Vettels lap times, or signs that his tires were going away. Same with Nico's, he was just pushing it. If the car is holding up and the lap times aren't dropping, why would a lap limit (especially in Nico's case) be an issue?

I agree with Vettel, I call Bullsh!t. Any driver would have been robbed from that happening. Both Vettel and Rosberg were luck they didn't have that happen at a LESS opportune time.

While most drivers opted for a two-stop strategy at Spa, Vettel’s one stopper meant he needed to complete close to 30 laps in his final stint on Pirelli’s medium-compound tyre - something he and Ferrari believed the tyre to be capable of.

Referring to their 2013 suggestions, Pirelli stated: “The proposal put forward a maximum distance equivalent to 50 percent of the Grand Prix distance for the prime tyre and 30 percent for the option. These conditions, if applied at Spa, would have limited the maximum number of laps on the medium compound to 22.”

No drops in times because the tires were toast and gone. Hence no further reduction in times. Hence Grossjeans catching up so easily.

There were also several other drivers/teams that reported cuts or issues with tires that hadn't blown on track.
I think they should be providing a tire that gives the teams the option to run longer if strategy requires. Making them only have a "limit" on tires, just means the tire maker gets more money, teams have to follow a pretty standard set of pits.

That was great to see the Red team two up on the start grid ahead of Ros....
I can see both the Ferrari's jumping Lewis on the start. I'm gonna eat a HAM sammich tomorrow to put some Voodoo on the mercs.

HAM flat out dominated! I'm glad the stewards didn't strip his win over tire pressure. VET did well enough to please the Italians. I feel bad for Kimi, dang botched start...

Nice to see both Ferrari's and the Red Bull on the podium. Hell, it was nice to see a lock out of the silver arrow's of the 1st 2 rows.
Bummer for Ham tho. He's a great racer, but every car has a gremlin at some point..

I hear that. VET for the win. RAI still struggling with his rig for some reason. Love the completely different opinions of the performance of Merc from ROS vs HAM.

I saw RAI smile in the room they towel off in before the podium. I think he was content, or dare I say happy, with his result. From FP3 to the checkered flag VET simply ruled Singapore.
