I just purchased an 05 KingQuad and I love it! I was a little concerned with some rumors I heard, but those are just that, rumors. This is truly an awesome machine. What kind of ATV are you riding?

What do you do with the quad? Work it or just for play? I don't own any, I have much more fun on two wheels. My freind's got a 250EX, he needs a bigger bike/quad because he flogs the crap out of it. Already blown the engine up once riding the hell out of it because it doesn't have near enough power for him.

Being that I bought mine this past Saturday, I haven't really got to work it. I am still doing the break in phase. I bought it for play and work. I will use it when I go hunting, fishing, and some ranch work. I thought about getting an 06 GSXR600, but I figured I could get more use out of a KingQuad. I am stationed at Whiteman AFB Missouri. It gets dang cold here and snows. That pretty much limits crotch rockets to the spring, summer, and fall. Plus, being in the Air Force, you are required to take a motorcycle safety class and have to abide by other requirements and rules to ride on base. I don't have a problem with this as it is for everyone's own good, however, these classes are few and far in between. I am 110% satisfied with my decision, plus my wife gets to drive it and hopefully she will want one soon!!!

I have an old 1982 atc 250r. A few mods here and there, three wheels of pure death. I love it and won't ride anything else. My wife has a warrior that is pretty much stock. It has a mild cam and an aftermarket air filter to get rid of the crappy stock setup. |

Nice raptor raptorman. Does anyone know a website that has performance minded parts for an 05 KingQuad? Yes, I have used the search/google button! Thx.

I ride an 04 Suzuki Vinson. I love my quad, I use it mostly for trail riding and hunting. I think you made an excellent decision in the KQ, I've heard a ton of good stuff about it. Have fun.

For her though,on trail rides,it was just to heavy for her to manhandle in off camber stuff and tight places. We sold it a while and need to replace it,since my Raptor isn't much for yard work. Unless you want to absolutely tear it all up into mulch Also, she doesn't really care to ride my Raptor on trail rides. Sometimes she wants to follow behind if I take my Yota, but refuses to take my Raptor  | |
