| Taking an RC on a cruise...
Hypothetically speaking... Would there be an issue if I took a small RC car or plane on a cruise? The cruise leaves locally so I don't have to deal with flight-related issues. Just show up at the terminal and board. How would I go about finding out if its acceptable/allowed? |

Umm.. I would highly doubt anything flyable by RC is allowed on a cruise ship.. As for cars/trucks/crawlers/etc... Who knows...

I would think if you can fly on a plane with them then you could take a cruise with them. I doubt that you would be able to fly them on the boat though!

I saw a video of a guy flying a Blade CX off the balcony of his cruise ship room. He's lucky he got it back. Those things don't like the wind.

I took my Xmod on a Disney Cruise last year without a problem. Your luggage, just like when boarding an airplane, has to go through a check and they didn't flag it. I would assume an RC similar in size to an Xmod wouldn't get flagged as well, but I wouldn't suggest taking a plane. They're large ships, but not that large! Cheers, Kyle. |

Perfect place to take a Losi Micro Crawler and a ziplock bag full of rocks! Take some photos!
