| 1:1 wheeling rigs post them!
Post a pic or pics of what you take on the trails. The little 94 sami is what I'm using. I need a camera to take a new pic of it. It now has 31'a no doors and no windshield. Plans for this year include full cage and flat bottum belly drager. |

Here is my EB. Havent worked on it for almost a year, but i am building a new 3 link for the front, and built a new engine cage for it. Hopefully it will be on the road again this year Some specs are all new dart headed 302(about 325hp), 435, twinstick d20, d44/9" with CTM's warn axles, superior 31spline rears, 4.56gears, detroits, 37" krawlers, warn 8274, etc. Last edited by dittohead; 01-01-2008 at 01:12 PM. It's basically a stocker. But thats all i need. Full-size is the only way to go! Makes your driving skills that much better to drive away without damage Plus......who doesn't love a good challenge with their rig? This rock Came close. But a couple stacked rocks helped them 235 75 15's clear the ledge. Who say's you need big meats? Duel Flowmaster exhaust. K&N cold air intake. And Auto meter guages to monitor the vitals for the long hauls. Last edited by rockwell; 01-01-2008 at 12:47 PM. |

Heres some pictures of my cherokee. I just got a 4" lift for it, its on, but we are making some long arms for it as of now. I still have to get some 2" pucks for the front, and 2"shackles for the rear. I also have to order my tires for it this week. I will be getting 33/12.50/15 Mickey Thompson MTZ's. Heres some current pictures.... |

my 94: some simple mods, 4" Rough country lift, 3/4" shackles, SYE kit and new drive line, 4.56 yukon gears 32" cooper Discover STT some engine mods and other misc. crap, the suspension is getting re-done soon with a U-bolt flip in the front along with a shackle reversal that will give me 1.5" of lift with stock shackle so I'm gonna put my old 1" lift shackles back on after wards to get a total of 6.5 ish of lift then the rear end is getting a spring over with 1-2" add a leafes to help level out along with shackles. then I'm going to re-do all my shock mounts and put a new rear brake line. also going to have to make my front driveline longer and shim my front axle. then will come the 1" body lift from MORE heres some pics how it sits now: http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y29...100_0613-1.jpg http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y29...2/102_7724.jpg http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y29...2/102_7721.jpg |

| More of a trail runner than a rock machine, obviously. 4" lift, 27" swamper SSR's. Next year, I'm swapping in a bigger engine (50% more power!!). Yah, I roll a little different. |

A few guys in my 4WD club all deceided last year that we each wanted to build " winter wheelers " for less than a $1000 each. The goal was to have a capable rig in the snow, but not too capable that it was boring. Something we can bounce off trees and rocks, roll over and not care at all. This XJ used to belong to my friend, but he has since got a newer, nicer XJ to beat up, so I bought this one. I helped build it, I have wheeled it and so it was destined to be the new MSD shop rig, of sorts. specs are: 89' chero-car, 120k 4.0l , auto, 231 t-case " lincoln " locked rear end, open front, locking a d30 with how often I press the dumb pedal was a bad idea, so it is open. 33" swampers on cheap black steelies 3" rusty's lift, low CG, big tires and lot's of " sawzall " spare control arms in back blue hatch from a 90' xj dog and mud stained interior it has radio, heat and 4 black feet, what else is there? Truck wheels great, paint is shot and there is not a straight panel on it, including the rockers and sub frames. grand total in this build, including the truck $946.13 sad part is I have more into my 2.2 comp rig than that This is the rig I am going to give badger and 1BJB as a " loaner" when they come out for the scale comp in may. No ins waver required. pics : |
