I think 5hp is the "claimed" output of the .46 engine. It's a lofty number. Doubling the engine's displacement doesn't double its hp. Don't get suckered in by high hp numbers.

I also think you'll blow tranny gears like Monica in the Oval Office.

Use a Neu 2215 BAM. http://www.neumotors.com/motors/neu_neu2200.html 4000 watts continuous.... picks up 25 pounds with a prop.

50 amps at 80 volts

Just the power system is 10 pounds with 3800mah nimh.

I think a Feigao 7xl and a BK Warrior 9920 would be a better choice. Faster and more reliable. I remember seeing a video of TXT with a Lehner 2800xl/Warrior it was crazy-fast to say the least. The guy even launched it down 2 flights of stairs!

Just a short can 4200, but it was pretty crazy anyway.

I had a Modeltech setup in a Jugg2. Was blistering fast, but the tranny gears got chewed up on every run.

There's no slip to a TXT/Jugg tranny (or driveline for that matter) so any shock to the system under such hp and torque will blow gears.

You would need to make everything in the drivetrain bullet proof before you go sticking that much power in it. I put the picco .21 in my maxx and it tore the whole truck apart so now I have titanium driveshafts and such to keep the power to the wheels.

True, also it is made by CEN, so expect the real output to be anywhere from .02-.03hp.
