From a cd, just pop it in and Itunes will start then you can begin to import.

Go to file, then go to add folder to library. It takes awhile if they are mp3 format. It will have to covert then to mp4 (Itunes format).

Yeah, its funny sounding. I go to the eqaulizer, ( View) And adjust it for whatever kind of music i am listening to and it helps a little bit.

Nope. I dropped my external hard drive and lost almost everything on mine. Had to reload all my cd's. But lost all purchases.
I back them up on a disc now!!

Why don't you put that in your signature? You'd save a lot of time.

I've heard that you can give apple a call and tell them what happened and they can "credit" you with your old purchases. Not sure how legit that statement is, but it's worth a shot if you had a ton of purchases on there... :?

If you paid for them using iTunes, log in on the reload/new pc with the old account and activate the computer.

Then you can re-download the content.

It's because whatever you had before sounded shi-itty.

The Genius Mixes in the newest iTunes are sweet.

Yup, there is something wrong on your end if your itunes does not sound right....

For those of you that have lost all of what you had in itunes when your computers/macs pooped out on you. Look up "TouchCopy" http://switcher.dmn.aol.com/sw/r?ri=...GA215MqpRLg%3D

It is the quickest easiest way to rip what you had on YOUR ipod back to your new computer. Hope this helps.

It must just be you, cause it rocks on my computer. But I also have a decent sized sound system hooked up also. Go to > view > show equalizer and see if that helps ya out Pat.

I just now uploaded to the new Itunes 9 and see they have a few more features..I like the home sharing they have now. This way I can set up the laptop for my son to load his Ipod, as he really doesn't need to be loading some songs I have(NWA, 2livecrew, DJ quik, Too Short, etc) or really doesn't need to be using this PC .

Check out the itune radio stations I use that function a lot. I also use the qualizer to fine tune the type of music like classical vs rock it makes a big difference.
