You'd be better off starting with a bone stock Samurai. I see a lot of stuff that would need fixed or replaced to make this into a serious off-road Zuk. Welded front diff = not good. Even if the t-case has the 2WD low option, you'll still not be able to turn with the hubs locked. Oops, just read it has P/S.... OK, it'll turn but with 22 spline Zuk front axles and 36's...... :shock: I broke four front axles in my ol' Zuk...... with 33's..... and I'm very easy on the throttle. Stock length Samurai springs are short = rough ride, limited flex. Stock length Lifted springs will give you kidney problems. 80" wheelbase is WAY too short for that much lift and 36's. My Zuk felt short with very little lift and a 83" wheelbase on 33's. That Zuk has potential, but like I said, it'd probably be cheaper to start with a stock Zuk and build it yourself. |
Zuk axles?? Chris, lay the crack rock down.. those are not zuk axles :lol: plus i didn't know you could get 5:38 gears for yota axles :lol: |

LMAO Chris :flipoff: Yeah I came close to buying a sammy, I just didn't care for teh WB too much. I am used to my yota being at 106" and not what 88" :lol: BTW- Ain't you too damn tall for a sammy?? :flipoff: :lol: :lol: reminds me of Hightower when he ripped out the front seat and sat in the back seat when he learned to drive in Police Academy :lol: |

Figured this little Zuk would entertain you hardcore guys :mrgreen: Steering is pretty nifty eh? Like I said, bit of tweaking and reworks would be required. I just been looking for nice Zukis because my slammed S10 don't work so pretty good in the snow :lol: |
