I'm stumped

Now, supposedly there are 3 words in the English Dictionary that end in "gry"
1) Hungry
2) Angry
3)______?

I can't figure it out. Does anybody know the third?

Can you answer this:

Three people decide tp stay in a hotel. They pay $10 a piece, for a total of $30. The manager decides they were very nice, so he tells the bellboy to take them $5. On the way to the room, the bellboy thinks about how they are going to divide the money evenly. He takes $2 out of the $5 for himself. His logic is with the $3 remaining, they can each get a dollar. So, he gives them each a dollar. That brings the total each person paid down to $9 ($10-$1=$9). Since there were three people, the total amount the group paid was $27 ($9 x 3 people = $27). If you add their total, $27, plus the amount the bellboy took, $2, you come up with $29.

What happened to the other dollar?

That is what I was thinking.
I've racked my brains for a while over this... I even checked the dictionary from "a - c" (long book) looking for the answer.
An older family friend is who asked this question. He said he'd give $10.00 to who found the word first (anyone sitting in the house at that time, not you guys sorry).
I told him there wasn't another one & he said "yes there is" soooo, no $10.00 for me.

the bellboy took $2, so the 2 should be taken from 27, not added to. The innkeeper Got $25 for the rooms , the guests paid in $27, the bellboy skimmed 2 dollars.

OK... you wouldnt add the $2 for the bell boy... that where the ? gets ya... if you take the $27.. minus the 3 dollars that was returned you get $25... 5 less of where they started from.....

or .. they were supposed to pay $25... bu tthe greedy little bell boy took $2 bringing their total to the $27... thats where the money went.
