Christmas for the Christians, Hanukkah for the jews...... what about my people? I've yet to see anyone wish a Happy Kwanzaa. :?

Kwanzaa is an African-American cultural celebration that introduces and establishes principles and practices designed to recapture the essence of our African American selves and give our children and their descendants a positive Afro-centric value system for the future.

Kwanzaa is celebrated from Dec 26- Jan 1. There are seven priciples of Kwanzaa, one for each day. They are Umoja or Unity, Kujichagulia or Self-Determination, Ujima or Collective Work and Responsibility, Ujamma or Cooperative Economics, Nia or Purpose, Kuumba or Creativity, and Imani or Faith.

One more thing about Kwanzaa......

All I have to say is we are all from another country unless you're a true blooded american indian.
