semi truck is manual i suppose. but its not like you have to shift it. you choose a gear for what you are doing and drive. But im sure you can shift on the fly for that scale feeling. the only problem is building a transfer case for it.

Does anyone know of any manual shifted transmissions? I'm looking for a multi speed gearbox although I've had little luck finding anything other than the Tamiya semi 3 speed and the E-maxx tranny. at first, I wanted to use an E-maxx tranny although everybody has said that it has too much slop for a crawler. I've never personally used or seen one. I've only owned nitro's to this point. I'm excited to build my first electric. Tamiya also makes a planetary gear box that does ratios from 4:1 to 400:1. Does anyone have any experience in this field? Last edited by RhinoSS; 01-03-2006 at 11:01 AM. |
