1. Do you have time to have it sitting for months on end while you try to fix it?
2. Will it still run after being on it's lid?
3. Buy it for $700, pull out engine/tranny/t-case and rear axle... sell them and make up for the $700 spent, then call a wrecker to haul away the rest of the trash

Exploders suck. My wife wrecked our Explorer a couple years ago, not too bad but she wanted out of it and we went to a bigger SUV.

2 words...Daily Driver....

BUT, if i get it, im going to pull the drivetrain and keep that...

then part out whats left to make most of my money back and buy a bronco II.

then drop the 4.0, tranny, t-case, and 8.8 rearend into the BII.

sale the stock stuff from the bII and look for a d35 TTB or possibly do a SAS with a D44

BUT, if i already had a daily, i would be all over just throwing a rollcage in it and SAS'ing it.....which isn't a bad idea considering the price, and the fact that it still has a clear title. hmmmm, damn you, now u got me thinking....

If my deal falls through this weekend, I will give you a shout.

I am selling my '95 XEB super cheap (with no front drive train).

It is this without a front axle, wheels/tires, and some plastic.

str8 up, i just gotta know why u did a 6 lug swap. most people with 6 lug minis want to swap to the 5x114.3 bolt pattern of an explorer.....u got it backwards

and it wont exactly go through a mudhole either ;)

Robb, i would be interested if i had a lot of money to spend right now....unfortunately i dont, when/if i get this explorer, im going to ahve to wait a while to do anything to it or with it.....

the front subframe is a nissan p/u and a custom Hframe was made to fit. in the mini truck world its easer to c-notch and bag a nissan over any truck out there= there are mors aftermarket parts fot the nissan.

the 6 lug i wanted b/c it is the same lug as the caddy suv and there are an a$$ load of wheels to pick from.

down south we don't need mud .. we have the urban jungle.....

and mini BTW "I got it like that" ;)

u think theres more parts for a nissan than a s10?

yes, they are the same bolt pattern as GM's, but you will have to bore out the center of the wheels you get so that they will fit ove the "nubs" on the nissan hubs. there are LOTS of wheels for the 5x114.3 bolt battern too, even front wheel drive offset so that they are guaranteed to tuck.

read my screen name, if theres ANYTHING i know ANYTHING about its mini trucks. ;)

Do all mini-trucks have that much camber in the front? I would think it would wear your tires very quickly.
