This thing is going to so overpower the tires that it's need to be driven in 4wd on anything but dry pavement.

The new 6.7l in the 2011 Ford SD is rated at 390hp and 735tq. Quote:
Put a tuner on it and wave bye bye to the trucks drivetrain warrenty. There even can be warrenty issues with exhaust sytems on DPF equipped trucks. The current models from any of the big 2.5 are capable of a lot more power. The current 6.4l in the SD with a DPF delete and tuning only will put out over 500hp and 1000tq at the rear wheels through the stock trans and drivetrain. Of course removing the DPF will make the truck fail inspection. If you ask me they are starting to get out of hand with the power output of the diesels, people will end up having accidents from unexpected wheelspin. Its about time they do a denali with the dmax! Should be sick! Oh and no offense dkf but I call bs that a ford with just a tuner and exhaust will do 500+ hp and also have the stock drivetrain hold up.

| Nice Truck You can't go wrong with a Chevy! Oops Its a GMC. Oh well its all the same. Stick with the General! Plus you know how it goes when you buy a truck or car, as soon as you leave the dealership they have already made a better, stronger, and sometimes cooler looking version. I say be happy with what you have unless its not from the General. |

Nice looking truck... I wonder if it'll have a rear steer option? (I know earlier model Denalis had one) |

Very nice.....I'd never buy a "new" vehicle......but maybe in 10 years when they are affordable I'll pick one up.

I guess I'll be the first to say that my taxes are going towards these trucks to keep them in production. I'll stick with Ford when I need another truck. Goverment Motors can keep there cars/trucks |
