Default lookin at gettin a new truck give me some ideas.

hey i am not new to rc cars at all but a lil new to rock crawling and stuff like that. I have been looking at making a trail rig that will crawl but also handle anything else like mud, tall grass just anything you would come across on a trail. I just traded in my road car minit and vintage stuff and didn't get much for but i have about 100 bucks store credit at a local shop. what do you guys think would make a suitable trail rig to start out with that is not to pricey?thanks

A stock e-maxx will handle slight rockcrawling and will handle mud, grass, and all other stuff well. You could build it into many different types of rigs. It could be made into a awsome rockcrawler or a brushless street truck. Your choice. Oh yea search Ebay for some good prices. -Will

For $100, no ideas here. About the only thing under $100 is a Nylint and those ain't worth the time

$100 will get you a set of clod axles. You can slowly buy the rest of the parts, and make the chassis and links yourself.

Don't forget the TLT. It can usually be had for less than $100. You can start stock, and build from there as you have money. Check out the gallery in the small scale section for stuff people have built.

If your talking about the ones on the 1/6th Nylint's they have them at wallmart for $20 for 4 tires and wheels. I don't know for sure if they will go right on or if you will need to make an adapter. Justin

You can make a set of narrow wheels/ tires or I can narrow some wheels and tires for you for a small fee. Pm me if you are interested.
