really cool car they say (and this is a fact) at top speed for 15 minutes your tires will melt and you will go through 15 gallons of gas every 2 minutes

the nice thing is that the gas runs out before the tires.

I saw this car for the first time 2 years ago and fell in love. I looked at my wife and said "this is the only car I would ever buy" LOL This comming from a guy who hasen't ever owned a car, I only have trucks and suv's. I've never wanted a car, why would anyone want something thats only good for carrying people!

I watched that on the Natl Geo channel. They really go the extra mile with that car, of course you pay for that.

I had to laugh at the irony, Aaron

1. At least you can buy them. (unlike comp compounds)

2. How many miles do you get on the buggy tires?

Well the ones from KOH have 200 miles on them and still look brand new.

the only comp compound I know of that is hard to get is the Mickey's that I run. Supossed to be out of production for good. The Maxxis and Bfg tire you can get new.

I watched that last summer on National Geographic HD, pretty cool all the stuff involved with it, but I still find this car ugly as hell no matter how fast it is.

Hey 2 of them have probably closer to 500miles on 'em.

That car is just flat insane engineering art from bumper to bumper. I laughed at the air intake, 1 minute it pulls more air than you'll breath in 4 days. Awesome

I liked the 3,000hp generated from the engine (2,000 of which was heat) and how they had to redesign the cooling and exhaust system for the building because it was "burning down".

And the six foot flames out of the exhaust at 200MPH was cool.

Engine pumps out 1,000+ hp

Braking system is equal to about 4,000 hp

253mph to 0mph in less than 10 seconds.

0-62mph in 2.5 seconds

62mph-0 in 2.2 seconds

That's 0-62MPH and back to 0 in less than five seconds.

Also, the air brake (back wing) creates MORE braking force than the discs above (I think) 150mph.

bad ass, IMO
