SHEEZ IM TIRED!!!

i just got back from pushing my mountain bike about 10 miles from the baylands after my back tire exsploded i thought i got shot and then i saw my rear tire shredded- then i wished i got shot ,my ears were ringing all the way home it sucked just thought i'de share this moment with you

at least it was only a mountian bike and not a vw bug.....we had to push my buddy's pos up a hill to get to the gas station because he didnt want to pay 25 bux for them to tow it. this hill was steep and when its only two guys pushin it sux.

I bent a wheel on a pretty technical trail in Hawaii. The area I was in was rumored to be "drug territory" and guys on dirt bikes were always in the area.

Anyway, BLOOOM! Rear tire blew. I nearly jumped off the bike and hit the dirt to see where the shot came from.

Turned out the wheel was so hosed the sidewall was rubbing my brakes.

I had a spare tube in the pack under the seat, but there's not much good a spare tube will do with a mangled wheel.

Luckily I only had to hump it for a couple of miles.

This was about a year or so ago before I lost my bike in a tornado, but me and my bro were riding down the trail and one of the new ram srt-10's passed us and I got so focused on it since I had not seen one in person yet that I smashed into a pull that was about three feet high. It was one of those pulls that is supposed to stop cars from going on the trails you know. Well anyway I hit it hard enough to render the wheel unrepairable and bend my brand new front shocks . I still have the pics but no scanner. I was bad it broke everything expensive I swear.
