| A little over a year ago... http://www.samclarkfuneralhome.com/s...timothy-minor# Tim tried calling me May 23rd just before midnight and the 24th, just after midnight. I missed both calls because I was downstairs with my wife watching a movie and had the phone upstairs on charge. Tried returning his call all day Sunday, all day Monday...and Tuesday. No answer. No answer the rest of the week, either. Started asking Matt and Cameron if they had heard from him - no luck. He died that Tuesday. To this day it still bugs me that I missed those calls. I'll never know why he called, what he had to say, etc... Not a week that goes by that I don't think about Tim. RIP, KC. |

You will never hear the words physically from your ears. Listen from the heart and I am sure you will hear the words he was going to tell you. Hope you find the peace that you deserve in missing that phone call. Take care. |

Still have the memorial on my profile. Can't believe its been a year already. Im glad you brought it back up. We are all guilty of forgetting the important people in our lives when they are gone. I think it's healthy to be reminded of them. Thanks for reminding me. A good man that will always be missed. Don't let the missed calls haunt you daddy-O. I'm sure it had something to do with his rigs with you two being close and all. If there is ever a RCC Hall of Fame, KC would def be in it! |

Yea man, talk about it and let the legend live on. It's so true what Krawler said, don't let your mind play tricks on your heart. Also be thankful that you were close enough to him that he had your number, some of us are only lucky enough to be graced by his forum posts and awesome displays of pics. God speed sir KC. R.I.P. |

I didn't have the luck to talk to the guy, but somehow his death really got me. I still get a strange mood when I read his builds. R.I.P. |

One of the nicest guys on RCC always helpful at anytime of the day or night and always very up front about things. Had talked to him on many occasions and feel honoured to have had that chance. KC is sadly missed by myself and many others but the memory will always remain. My favourite build of KC's And heres the thread project: Heavy Metal Hummer |

He left a nice comment on one of my threads: http://www.scale4x4rc.org/forums/showthread.php?t=17372 It meant a lot to me comming from him. Most of his builds made me want to make clones of them because they were just sooooo cool. I still get a little watery eyed when I think of him, although I didn't even know him. |

| I actually had the pleasure of owning this truck... stupidly I sold it. KC and I talked about the truck all the time. We even contacted the new owner to see how it was holding up, last I heard it was still going strong but that was before KC passed away. Its hard to believe its been a year already... RIP KingCobra

Damn, Jason, that sucks.... but don't let regret weigh you down. With out sounding all rainbow farting unicorn, Tim would know what you would say, and know you weren't ignoring him. Lest we forget the great ones. |

You know there is a silver lining in that somehow. Honestly I had talked to him about 2 months before on scale 4x4 for advice and its so strange to not see him on or read his threads. Nice to know that he was close enough of a friend to you to call. that should say something that speaks volumns. I have to believe that alot of people here who have grown in thier building skills is a direct result of his fine craftmenship in RC and static models. sadly enough, most of us will only remember him for that and not because of us knowing him directly. in a way we all were touched with this amazing person. he will be very much missed.
