I am assuming that the lightning is all produced within the ash clouds from the friction within. I would love to see some video taken at night of that.

They just had a special on one of those channels about the volcanic activity under Iceland. Unbelievable how much change happens within a short amount of time.

They also just had a special about lightning activity within a volcanic eruption, and I've had this picture as my desktop as soon as I found it.



By the way, uh... we're all screwed!!!!
