Had the best drive ever today on the way back to San Francisco from Sonoma. I drove through Marin County down to Muir Woods and out along Hwy 1 south to the bay. Literally hundreds of tight switchbacks over a little over 20 miles that took over 90 mins. Beautiful scenery and a somewhat challenging drive in the pig I rented. A 2014 Charger. I should have taken the upgrade to the Cadillac CTS.

Made this same drive not long ago except I was driving a motorhome and towing a Jeep. Beautiful drive but it was not the least bit enjoyable.

This view out my kitchen window used to be a two story house. Zoned commercial and this building has been put up in the last month. A local garage moving in. First thing they do is put two rusted out mustangs back here. For some reason I like the view. Sad to see them neglected though.

Theres also a wrecked muscle car thread which is almost worst!!!! Its all running,driving,restored cars that have been in accidents!!!!
A 63 plymouth Belvidere with a wedge motor in a junkyard or field and ill cry BUT to see one perfectly restored then stolen and then wrappsd around a tree well.......i was in deep depression for a day two after seeing that :lmao:

I'm not a Ford guy, but what's really pathetic about this is this blue one looks like a Shelby model by the taillights, those are worth a pretty penny. I just hate to see classics rotting.:cry:

Orange one looks like a '73 Mach 1, blue one looks like a Shelby GT 500 convertible, and the Mopar on the bottom I think had the push-button transmission:cry:, This is gonna turn into a tear-jerker thread

There were more pics of the orange one and it's a 70 but believe it or not amazingly intact!!!!!!! And its always cool to hear pf someone else who had a cuda!!!!! Ours has the commando 273 and a 4spd.tons of fun"thumbsup"

Nah, it's ok, just nice to see that these cars still exist, and haven't gone to the crusher yet. I get the Hemmings abandoned car calenders every now and then. It's amazing to see the abandoned 53 Buick in a barn with a tree growing up through the engine bay, lol
