This looks like a video game with a turtle riding a fish for transportation.

It doesn't snow here, ever. But if it did, I'd give this a try.

Well already now a lot of people here lease their car
Maybe that's what they mean that it will become more popular in the future.

+ i dont like rich people setting the agenda for me, remind me too much of my current situation,,,, which i dont like, but am too pathetic do do anything but whine about it.
Or maybe its due to the things i think need doing are extreme, and i am not ready to go there myself or at least not right now.

In the 8 grade or so i predicted the proliferation of computers and vending machines, and it was aired on TV i think, but no one hailed my foresight ( this must have been around 1982 )

As a finance manager for a decent size Ford and Lincoln store, I'm here to tell you, leasing is not nearly as prevalent as youre being led to believe. I'll venture leasing account for 10 percent of my spun deals, if that. Hell, new car sales period only account for a third of total sales maybe. Manufacturers are just pricing new vehicles out of most normal peoples budget range anymore. When a regular cab short bed XL package (base) F150 tips at over 30 grand, and is right in line with any other manufacturer comparable truck, you know its in a bad spot. You want a crew cab decently equipped pickup brand new and you're paying mid 40s at the minimum.

I always wonder who is buying these things. I consider myself "middle-class" and I know I can't afford a vehicle in that price range. My boss and her husband just bought a new crew cab 250 last year. She refers to it as their second mortgage payment.

Said nobody ever. Except Elon Musk and nobody listens to him because he changes his mind and his focus every 2 minutes as well as making promises he can't keep.

That's as laughable as the localities claiming there will be no gas or diesel vehicles in 10 years.

Here ( In Denmark ) 1 in 5 cars are now private leased, but for every 1 private leased car there are 3 company leased cars ( 2016 numbers )
In March 2016 19.000 new cars got on the streets here 8000 of those was lease cars.

But the total for lease cars are still low here in relation to the 2.5 mill or so cars on the streets here, but if you just look at the car "sales" in the later months leasing cars make up about 50% of it.
And you can lease a silly little VW up or a little Suzuki like mine, its not just high end cars here anymore, and its often the dealerships that do the leasing.

Dont understand why people are throwing money at that Elon Musk guy, as far as i know its not like what he is into are spewing money out the other end.

Here a Black "top of the line Ford F 150 3.5 L ecoboost Platinum 4x4 AUT 4D"
From 2016 with 0 MI/KM on it will set you back 75.340 USD and that's excluding the 25% sales tax that you have to add on top of that prize if you buy it as a private person.
And the annual tax to drive / own it are 1412 USD, and then the fuel prize here are 2 X that of the US i think.
