Same here. I could afford it if I wanted to, I just don't think I get enough in return for my money. It's still just a vehicle, at the end of the day and for what I do 99% of the time, what I own now is better suited for the job.

I’m having trouble with a used 50k Raptor. Yeah I understand what and why, is the 50K on the window in paint that makes me shudder. I only paid 42K for my first house

I talked to much of the world before the internet, had no problems talking to Italians from my mobile setup ( on the good days )

At home on the 5/8 antenna things was better, and the tube AMP stronger.

Still have a few radios for when the ruling elite ruin it for the rest of us.

26 - 30 MHZ and a few unlocked VFO dualband radios.

I got confirmation from New Zealand on 38lsb (27.385) with 100w once when the skip was right. Lasted about 2-3 minutes though. Skip is always fun.

Never got into HAM, even though I own a cheapo radio. I did get into the CB thing when I was younger, always had one in my trucks, especially good when wheeling. My buddies just couldn't understand that it was much easier to talk back and forth on a CB in the woods than to get out of your truck and try and get your buddies attention to talk to them. Had a base station at home, and a Cobra LTD 29 classic in the truck, both had a bit of tweaking and a little help as well. Furthest I ever got on skip was Hawaii on the base station.

Honda has done something truly insane. They've transplanted the engine from their CBR1000RR Fireblade SP superbike into a freakin' lawnmower.

Why on earth would the Japanese automaker build such an absurdly awesome piece of lawn care equipment? They have a reputation to uphold.

In 2014, Honda's first "Mean Mower" hit the world record-setting speed of 116 mph. Now, they've partnered with Team Dynamics once again to make a faster, louder, and meaner mower.

@ 'Stang I honestly thought that a 1L super bike engine would have made for a faster speed than that.

Aerodynamics, weight and gearing I suspect. Fun but I'd never get on one.

LOL, I built my first two four stroke (was a die hard two smoker back in the day, and still prefer them to the modern four strokes for operating cost) moto engines in the kitchen of my apartment. I also used to paint RC bodies in the spare bedroom on the second floor, with a crudely constructed spray booth that had a box fan sucking the fumes and over spray out a window, right onto the vinyl siding.

Toyota Canada made a movie that features my buddies Baja 1000 race truck.
Pretty Cool!

My buddy (and dentist) owns (or at least part owner) of Monica, the 2008 Toyota Land Cruiser #8155.

An animatronic T-Rex dinosaur on fire leads to some really cool photos IMHO.
