Was going to post this in 'recent purchase' thread but since I think these are just too cool... gonna throw it here. I don't really collect die-cast anymore but when I saw this series, I just had to grab 'em. Problem was that the #1 green Bel Air was impossible to find. I eventually had to reach out to my buddy who's an avid collector. He happened to have 3 of 'em lol! I let him pick out 4 cars from my collection and a trade was made! Anyway... pretty neat series and imo the artwork on the cards is fantastic! Here they are...

Watches, the only male jewelry without some degree of gay factor.
Video also prove Coco Chanel was right about the little black dress.

I saw that elsewhere a while back, one hell of a crumble zone Dodge had back then.

"how fast was that going on impact" Probably slower than any of us would guess.

EDIT:

Oogle say its the before and after of a 100 MPH test,,,, and thats a speed that car could do fairly easy as i recall.

Wow, I'm guessing not many cars are gonna fare well at 100mph head on, you'd be pulling hamburger out of that wreck.

I saw this series just sitting for a couple days. Even had a chance to get the green one but said "I'll do it tomorrow". Then 'POOF!'... gone. Snagged the Super Nova and said "Just this one". Well crap... Got the other other 3 so 4 total. Then I started hunting for the Bel Air. Finally got 'em all and despite not collecting anymore, I'm really glad to have these. Well done card graphics packed with detail & color and each car to me is brutal-cool!

I told myself a couple years ago "no more series" but with this part of the car culture series being only 5, I couldn't resist. HW has had several kinda cool series over the past couple years but most just didn't quite draw my attention. This particular series had me drooling as soon as I saw 'em.

vonclod- Lol I have a hard time resisting when it's something I really like. My die-cast boxes don't take up too much space but our house is fairly small so no room to display. Long before I was married I had a good deal of 1:24 die-cast in every room lol... dragsters, funny cars, gassers, etc, etc.

Saw this in line at McDonalds today - couldn't grab a shot of the front, he had the grille painted body color, it looked really nice:
