Saw this Chevy pick up today parked outside a fly fishing shop after I dropped my girlfriend off to git her nails done.

I think the old rat rod pickups are so cool. This is my neighbour's 46? Fargo, affectionally know as the "Fugly Fargo". Sits on a modified Ford Crown Vic Police Interceptor chassis and running gear with the 4.6 V8.

EDIT: Just scrolling through here and noticed a BIG mistake. It's a 56 or 57, NOT A 46. Either fat fingers or old age on my part. I think old age is a good excuse.

We don’t get many severe storms but when we do it’s ugly. Haven’t heard thunder in years lol.

That’s awesome!

I’m with you, for all the rain oregon gets there’s hardly ever thunder or lightning where I live. We usually got a couple good storms down in the desert, kind of miss those.

I miss the house shaking thunder the Midwest gets. I got way too excited when I heard the Thunder last night

And on the other end of the spectrum. Here is today's afternoon sunrise in the Arctic.

It is different. A little further north (from my work) there is a certain time of the year that the sun does not even come above the horizon for around 60 days and a time period that it does not even light up much at t he base of the horizon. It is definitely an acquired taste. lol

EDIT - Oh, and the sunrise is over, is is already getting darker. Well into sunset now...

And just a few hours later, headed home from work. Jus hit 10,000 feet and the picture quality sucks, but here is the last of the sunset for the day.

Unfortunately, I was right behind the wing, so the light took away from the view.

I'm not a big fan of Porsches but damn this one is clean. It's parked outside of one of the more "expensive" restaurants in my town.

Great pic.

I totally dig the wing and the light.

Being that we live in a neighborhood, with lots of ambient light at night time, we usually do not get to see the Northern Lights very often and it has been many years since we've seen them this vividly. This was from the evening of 2/26, at around 10pm.

Wow. I'm jealous. Seeing the auroras is on my bucket list.
