So I am guessing that is the Willis Tower which I believe is the Sears Tower.....correct?
Yea, it's the Willis Tower now, but I still tend to call it the Sears Tower............Same thing with US Cellular Field, it's still Comiskey Park to me.

Back when it was bought and renamed, WGN had a reporter ask passerbys what they thought of the name change, one person recommended the nickname "the Big Willie"

We have replaced one blade on a turbine in the past, but it's a lot easier to pull the rotor as a unit for a gearbox replacement. The imbalance puts a huge strain on the rotor lock, not to mention that's an extra 150+ 36mm bolts to retorque to 1400nm, and an extra three lifts since we have to pull the hub anyway.

There is talk of a new gearbox replacement procedure that leaves the hub on the main bearing but engineering hasn't approved it yet.

I see those blades headed north out of Houston quite often. One on the back of a LONG tractor trailer....

Lol, why yes... it was a Winergy gearbox that lost a bearing and split the casing.

This is standing on the yaw deck under the gearbox, its about the size of a VW bug.

PHEW Dutch and not Danish workmanship, thats what you get bying from potheads

1.5 year ago i lost my second job due to not beeing allowed to do the Work proberly, and for beeing "replaced" by a robot witch ws 300% slower and using 200% more paint and STILL not doing the job as it is suposed to be.

i can do crappy Work if ppl tell me to do that, but when ppl just say FU.. you and your hard erned skills witch we choose to ignore, that make my Little brain blow a fuse
