This was harder to take than you'd think. The LED frequency didn't want to line up with the shutter speed needed to capture the detail.

Great pics!

The wide shots reminded me of something my dad would do when I was a youngen; he would take shots on a tripod stick 'em all together with sticky tape and make a circle. Then you could stick your head in the circle for a 360 view and relive the moment.

That’s pretty cool.

When the panoramic option became available on the smart phones I fell in love. There are many things you can’t just take in with a regular picture.

Guadalupe Mountain just south of Carlsbad. Looking west after the sun went behind it. This was my evening landscape for over 1.5 years when working out there.

Default Cool Pictures

Nice shots hpiguy!

All of these are unedited

Waipio Valley. In the background right next to the cliff you can see Maui!

Waipio Valley waterfall. Normally there’s 2 and somtimes even 3 when there’s enough rainfall. Top of waterfall is about 1300ft.

Road down to Waipio Valley. It is a 35% grade and you need 4L to be able to descend without trashing your breaks. Doesn’t look too bad, but the camera doesn’t do it justice. Straight up on one side, and straight down on the other. This picture is us on the way up.

Mauna Kea summit. 13,806ft up. Those buildings are 30 meter tall telescopes.

Tree canopy road in Volcano. Don’t know the name lol.

South Point. The Southern-most point in the U.S. to put into perspective, that’s about a 100ft high cliff.
