I think I would have actually gave him a bit of respect had he come out, shrugged his shoulders, and said "Yeah, we don't know WTF we're doing, but its still a big mess, nothing has changed, and its going to cost the tax payers for many generations to get it set right.".

There are already term limits in place. It's called voting.

The problem is that one state gets to vote for people that affect the rest of the US. In Nancy Pelosi's case one district gets to vote for a person 3rd in line for the presidential job if something happens.

My vote is for 1 term, 4 years, no campaining for any office while still in office. CEO's have turned around companies in 4 years, much can be done in 4 years. If you can't get it done in 4 years move out of the way and give someone else a chance.

Damn skippy. I propose we assemble a "Clean House Party", where we will actively and publicly push for term limits for ALL political seats and while we are at it, tell everyone who is currently up for re-election to piss off, we're votin' for someone else.
