| Carry Gun Caliber
I have been looking at getting a dedicated conceiled carry gun for a while. Have a revolver that I carry in the truck on trips but no semi auto handguns. I have always wanted a full size 1911 but figure it would make a poor carry gun. Have been considering the Glock G32C chambered in .357 SIG due to the ballastics of the round. What do you think? So what gun and caliber do you have? |

I carry a Springfield XD-40 in a 3 inch subcompact. I carry it everywhere. It is easy to cover and even with the bigger 12 rd mag it still hides well. Use a Fobus paddle holster to tote it. Very comfy!! Shoots awesome but takes alittle getting use to with the short barrel. The 40 has alittle muzzle jump. Had it around 4 years now and shoot it quite a bit. Just keeps getting better!! |

i would recommend a ruger LCP, shots a 380 acp round my buddies LCP inside its holster is the same size as his wallet, so he carries the wallet in the left pocket and the pistol in the right, and nobody has any idea |

Most of the time I carry a sw99 compact, Carnage Crew edition, .40 caliber in a custom IWB holster made by Sideguard it conceals awesome and shoots incredible. In hotter temps I'll drop the Ruger LCP .380 into a front pocket inside a pocket holster. The firearms instructor that taught my CC class swore up and down about carrying a .22 magnum. It's super small and will do a world of damage. He showed us some test he had done where the .22mag penetrated a lot deeper in ballistics gel then a 9mm. Bottom line to remember is get something that you can hide good, is comfortable to carry, and you feel comfortable shooting. It HAS to be all 3 of those things or you'll end up leaving it at home. Remember a .22 in your pocket will be a LOT more helpful than a .45 in your dresser at home. |

I carry a G-23... yeah...40 short and weak but it'll get the job done OR get me to a rifle Myself I hated the 357sig... lot's of noise and flash and not any more real world stopping power if you ask me. A full size 1911(kimber) is my winter carry gun when I can stand a cover shirt... when it's 110 out side MORE clothes is the last thing I want... |

Either a .380, .357SIG, or .45ACP Sometimes it's the .380 AND one of the other two. |

I don't own a gun and neither should you. You could kill someone, or a loved one could kill themselves with it.

| That's one of the dumbest things I've heard in a while. Of course you could kill someone with a gun! Should we just wound them or throw it at them? A gun is a force equalizer. Guns don't kill people, people kill people.

you gotta think bout ammo too! i carry a springfield 40xd. i love it. 40 cal ammo is easy to come by. 380 and others are alot harder to find. just a quick heads up before you decide! |
