I see you are from the Columbia gorge,I'll bet you could find some Cook bros parts for sale at yard sales. A set of Cook bros cranks on there would be sweeet!

I've been doing lots of digging and I'm 99% sure it's an '87 FST, not a Sport like I was thinking. Which, is totally fine by me. It's old school and it's been bringing back many memories.

Makes me want to get one now. I could use it to cruise down to the liquor store in style instead of walking.

Nice bikes!

My son and I went riding around today. I took the "new" Haro as well as my good 'ol trust MTB, I was told to ride the new bike. I was told, "Then we'll both have BMX bikes!". Let's just say after about 8-10 minutes I was sucking wind. I almost crashed once since the brakes still don't work. How do the newage BMX'ers ride without brakes? I can't figure that out yet.

I can't afford good brakes so I don't run them

Brakeless is really smooth for me and makes me commit my trick.. Only bummer is ruining good shoes that much faster.

Try a stick in the spokes. That will save your shoes.
