Can't argue the angles, but what sets the video off is the soundtrack choice.

Not sure I really understand the attraction of drifting but the video was cool. I also was surprised by the amount of American iron in it.

Car passes by and you're left staring at a wall. Then another car and another wall. Not my thing. |

Cars would go around the track faster if they weren't sliding so much.

Regardless of content, the skills used to make that were RIDICULOUS. Planning some of those shots couldn't have been easy, especially with something as unpredictable as racing. So how he transitioned from certain shots was pretty damn incredible! I guess you have to love being behind a camera to really appreciate that. One of my favorites was the pan from the building down to the track and the blur of the car going by. It's just a nice damn shot! Thanks for sharing Toyofast |

The editing and shots were amazing. The soundtrack was spot on too. 1:36 the red Dodge comes into the corner and the green Honda(?) goes out of the corner. 2:13 The red Dodge comes into the corner, disappears behind the wall as the camera pans left, then the shot seamlessly goes into the same corner with the Red Bull car while panning left still. 2:31 Focus on the tires, then the focus changes just as the car comes out from behind the tires. If all you saw was drifting then you missed the point. Planning and executing that shot would be tough. I loved that shot too. Last edited by Grizzly4x4; 08-04-2010 at 09:49 PM. |
