Default Should I complain? THought I was getting a speed controler

I guess I probably broke even, but I did not get what I wanted.

I wanted a stock axial SPEED CONTROLLER for $15 shipped.

What I got was a stock Axial RADIO(missing battery cover) and receiver for $15 shipped.

I would like to know for my own good, I suppose. The guy only cleared about $4 after the postage, so I don't really expect him to do a switch(if he even has the controller)

Not to turn this into a feedback thread, but..
His username is rather accurate, I suppose - lil wasted.

Have you contacted him? I hope you have at least given him the chance to make it right before starting a thread.

Honestly, leaving the negative or neutral feedback is important so that other members know. You should get what you were paying for and shouldn't have to pay for the return shipping because of the seller's mistake or misrepresentation.

This could very likely be your own fault without seeing the original ad. If he said stock Axial Controler than it is your own fault for not getting proper clarification. If he said stock Axial Speed Controller than it was probably a mix up.

ditto.

even if it said speed controller, technically, a radio and reciever controls the speed. make sure it is what was described. if not, than his bad, and follow the appropriate recourse.

always ask for a picture of the product before you commit to buying something. wording is the key thing when describing something.

That would clearly be the sellers fault if so.

Yea, that's it.

This thread was more about the value of the radio vs the value of the esc.

Sorry to see that question has not really been addressed. Did not really want this to turn into a feedback thread at this point. Too bad it got moved.

Agreed.

If a person wanted to get seriously techinical, he could have sent you a severed finger in a box and called it a controller.

If it was a ESC, you would want to see its current condition how chopped up are the wires, how much soldring has been done, sloppy job..... electrical tape......ehhh maybe lol

It appears the seller was in the wrong based on his Ad, but you know he is a "lil wasted" and screwed up the sale.

I think you are fully in the right to: have him pay to ship the radio back to him, him pay to ship you the correct part, and leave feedback accordingly.
