| I need a ruling on this
So my wife thinks I am way out of line and should not be upset over this. I disagree. Here is the story: Last weekend while i was away at a camp and crawl my wife loaned my golf clubs to a friend of ours. I was irritated, but when my wife told me I was being dumb "because she didnt ask me" I got pissed. I would have gladly loaned the guy my clubs, but I think I should have the say so. she thinks if I would have loaned them out anyway she didnt do anything wrong. What say you? PS. he still has not returned my clubs. |

If you played golf and she doesn't. The she should have asked you first before loaning it out. Reminds me of "Everybody Loves Raymond" show.

Sorry to tell ya, but you're going to have to buy a whole new set of clubs. It's not widely known that golf clubs can not only sense weakness, but actually absorb it. So if you have a bad slice, whoever uses your clubs will also slice. Worse yet, the clubs will transfer his weaknesses back to you. Now that your clubs have been defiled by another man's touch, your game will suffer until you replace them. You can use the old clubs to beat your wife. |

They are yours and she should have asked! What if they would have been stolen or messed up? True that you might have lent them out regardless they are yours and you should make the decision. Your pens belongs to her, what would happen if you lent it to another girl? Lol ok jk but yea man it should be your decision. |

She should have asked. However, she obviously didn't think it would be that big of a deal, so go easy. Make sure she gets the clubs returned. Since she lent them out, she is responsible for them. Tell her you get a hummer every day that they are gone as a rental fee. |

Write them off as gone and tell her that you have to go get a new set of these: http://www.golfsmith.com/products/PG...raphite_Shafts |

from a woman's point of view: she is out of line. I would never loan out something of jake's (especially something as potentially expensive/personal as clubs) without asking him first. if someone asked me to borrow something of his, I'd probably just tell them to call him and ask him. I agree with Duuuuuuuude's rental fee, sounds fair to me. (as long as you qualify that it is from her, not from the guy who borrowed them ) |

I would rather have my wife loan herself out than my golf clubs. That's something you just don't do without asking the owner first. BJ for daily rental fee is more than fair. |

| You are married and if you wish to stay that way, you are wrong. End of story. Nobody should ever loan out your stuff without your expressed consent. Man law says you are right but if you try to exercise your rights you risk expulsion from the land of marriage to the land of bachelors. I do agree that she is prolly "playing the back 9" with the neighbor. |

tell your wife that her friend wants to borrow your wedding tackle (since it is really hers anyways) and when she says NO say to late. But then something bad could happen, you get divorced and then your clubs and everything else is hers. So you are better off just going to the dollar bar and getting even quitely and discretely. Then ask the guy hwho borrowed the clubs if he recognized a familiar scent on the clubs and say that his wife likes to hold your shaft.

During your next fight, look her straight in the eye and say this in your most sincere tone: "Your right, I'm wrong, I'm sorry.". Then give her a big hug and walk away. | |
