Yeah the worst part about VP is they come up with new ways to get our money. I saw some new adjustable offset and width prototype wheels in Denver. I thought I had enough wheels then I saw those. Looks like I need one more set, then I am done.

I was clear but I will say it again out of respect: VP products are what inspire builds. Unique perfection. note: I did not realize foams were Q4. I will edit! Last edited by MRCking; 08-11-2010 at 07:34 AM. |

No kidding. I own a fabrication shop and have lots of amazing machining connections and if you think VP is expensive try making a custom set of wheels. Machining thing in California is EXPENSIVE!!! It all comes down to run time. At 50,000 for a decent mill, you need to pay for it somehow. BTW. VP wheels are SICK...you are just a broke ass hater

just made a deal on the new scale rims they just came out with, and from someone that didn't know to much about these rims. One of the best detail that I had ever seen in any rims. Vary Vary nice product, next set of rims that I'll buy is going to be Vp's products hands down. And the adjustable hub spacers are vary cool. Quote:

$140 PLUS SHIPPING from another RCC vendor $140 PLUS SHIPPING FROM VP's web site then the wheel adapters $30 for all 4,and if you already have the adapters, don't have to spend the 30 the price wasn't any different that the first set, and the VP's has alot more detail in them I'm more into scale than comp, both rims are good products, BUT the Vp's quality is the best of what I'v seen in any scale rim And I do have both sets of rims, for scale I'll pick the Vp's, And I'm doing one of the hardest chassis that I've ever done, because of the quality of these rims. Because I want to show off these rims Thanks Vp for some cool and new product. keep it up Last edited by spyderwebbcustoms; 08-09-2010 at 10:49 PM. |

I have a couple sets of VP wheels... Love em. I am always getting compliment's and asked "what kind of wheels are those??" Quality is awesome, I had small issue w/one of my orders and they called me on my cell phone to discuss the issue. How awesome is that. I like them even more now because of the way they treated me. |

I'll add another thumbs-up for VP. I've actually owned wheels from a lot of different vendors on here and will say that the vast majority are great products and the guys stand behind their product and go out of their way to help. VP is no different, and they make some beautiful wheels that are priced similarly to other wheels. Large selection from the budget minded to the balls-to-the-walls customer. A little story. I got my first set of VP wheels used off the BST forum. When I was putting them together, I didn't realize they used imperial hardware and stripped out a couple of screw heads with my 3mm driver. Couldn't find any of the right size locally so I put up a want ad. One of the guys at VP saw it, got my address, and shipped me a complete replacement set for free. For not even being the original buyer, sure can't beat that kind of support! |

VP are the sh!t. They can be cheaper in the long run being able to change out the hubs. Also makes them very versatile.

Some nice things I like about my VP wheel and make them worth the price. Mounting tires is a breeze I haven't had a bead problem with any tire. Every other wheel I've used has given me mounting issues. I can change the off set for any axle without buying new wheels. Love being able to tune the weight without taking them of the truck. They offer the options I like and want. All their products have exceptional performance Hurtz dig for example. Do what you want but don't settle for second best it just costs more in the long run. |

If I didn't have the ability to make my own custom wheels I would for sure buy VP wheels. Great looking high quality product.
