Yo Davey, long time. Yeah, that seems to be a good deal considering that if they were anodized in the blue, they are 8 bucks more:

Are they a pretty good shock? When I stopped by your place, you wre running springs only. Have you switched over and found that running shocks too make a big difference in performance? When I was there, your truck didn't seem to have any problems as it sat. Not that I was aware of anyway.

I figured I'd make the leap to shocks to see how they do. Shocks look nicer than just coils, the dampening is cool, but its not *that* great. You can get 4 7" savage shocks for 20$ if you look hard, and thats what I went with.

But actually, I am just running shocks right now No springs or anything, they just sit all the way compressed. I wanted to lower my rig some and I tried that, and it actually works really well! Its just a good thing nobody has to sit in it!

I don't think I'll keep this rig for too long, but its fun anyway. Seeing Roktoy's (Jay's) tube buggy made me get the itch to do something a bit *more*. See details in PM

I did this for a while too, and I agree, it worked pretty good.
I had an uncut TXT chassis, so I grew tired of the belly scraping.
But now...oh yeah, think I'll go try again.

Anyways, those Hot Body shocks leaky as hell or they okay?

Even though they're super cheap, they're leakers! My brother has some on a T3 (don't ask), and they are cheesy.

What do you want for $10?

And I have yet to see ANY shock that does NOT leak eventually.

Everyone also said that Stock plastic savage shocks leak everywhere. I haven't had any problems at all.

And Badger hinted on this, and I think a tad differently... Everyone SAYS that ALL shocks leak.

And even IF they do, I really don't care if I have to add a dab of fluid now and then

I bought some, I'll let you guys know how they hold up ;) (For my next superscale rig)

If they leak all over the place I'll be sure to let you all know.

Or mock you if they don't.
