He got some info regarding the scan and again the spots on his liver are getting smaller. I know they were hoping for a more rapid decent of the size but its still positive.

On wedsnesday he has an apointment to go over the scans and will know more about what the next step is.
Thats good to hear. Hope everything went good today. I'm not a fan of Ford but I love restoration builds Keep it up

Update:

So things are moving along nicely and it should be ready to come back to me next week.

But the jambs are all painted---the color really turned out sweet..

Hood, truck lid, fenders and doors installed and final fitment in readyness for final paint.

Under the hood.

So before we can get it fully painted CT wants all the glass back in it. Don has gotten the door glass back in.

So before we can get the windshield and rear glass in we gotta get the headliner in. So thursday eve me and don got it in and stretched out to sit till saturday night while we got other stuff done. Its certaily going to be tricky to get it just right at the rear quarters.

So its getting REALLY close now.

So early this morning I headed back to CT's along with Don.

I spent a better part of the day working on the headliner because that has to go in before the front/rear windows can.

I worked and worked at it. One trick I found was cut small pieces of windlace so I could pull it and have it sit in place. Started with front/back and then worked the side to side. Did this back and forth a number of times and ended up with a "decent" outcome. Its not 100% done yet.

So then we set the front/rear glass in with new seals using the good old rope trick. It wasn't that bad putting them in.

Once in it was all taped up.

And here is the last time it will be seen looking like this. CT has some wet sanding to finish but plans on having it shot tonight....

Well when we started the project I took the stock wheels, clean and painted them and my dad had found a nice set of stock pony hubcaps. I also got new tires and he wanted skinny stockers with whitewalls.

But now the car has progressed to something more than we started and the combo isn't going to look as good. The $$ we have sunk into this has gotten to be more than we anticipated so we will have to see once its done and drivable and go from there...

So here is the plan. Will spend the next few nights having CT help us get the exterior parts back on.

Still working on the logistics of getting it home. Me and him have spoke in depth over a certain factor in it leaving his shop--so we will see. My parents are down south till early march so that might throw a monkey wrench in it--will see.

I spoke with my mom and told her I won't share any pics or let him see it till its done--she liked that idea. So I will only be posting pictures where I know he won't look (which is mainly facebook where he has seen them).

Once done I will throw a BBQ for family or anybody who wants to come to show it off and let him drive it for the first time. Of course video will be going and I will be making a video of the whole build along with the ending.

So stay tuned!!!!

Here is a good shot of the car with color. It looks absolutely WOW under floresent lights--can't wait to see it out in the sun.

CT had one spot where the metal flake did something odd. So today he took care of it.

I went and removed the horse from the part that it sits in (sits on the grill) and polished it up. It's is great shape and just needed some TLC--now it shines!!!

Its funny when my dad told him the color and bought the paint CT thought to himself "your kidding". Tonight hs says "man that color grows on you--I really like it. Do you think he will be mad if I paint something else is that color". I got a kick outa it..

So I was able to start assembling the front--these cars just look goofy with nothing on the front and how the hood just sticks out in mid air. But after some work I was able to give it some look from the front of a stang,,,

So in the am I am heading back over with a load of more parts--hope to have more pics tommorow night...
